Dear Abby,
Every day when I go pick out my
outfit, my mom tells me it’s ugly, mismatched, or it looks like a 3 year old
dressed me, and then she picks out another outfit and makes me put it on. I like my outfits, and I don’t like her criticism.
What do I do so she’ll let me pick my own outfits, and stop criticizing me?

Dear Criticism,
Could you tell her? Maybe she doesn’t know
that she’s criticizing you. Or maybe she doesn’t know that you guys have
different tastes in clothes. You could write her a letter, leave her a
voicemail, or leave a note on your pillow, if your uncomfortable talking
directly to her. If you’re not, you could tell her, or show her this. I hope I helped.
